Finished goods

Finished goods in the economic sense is a direct goods consumed and not used for the production of other goods. For example, a car sold to the consumer is finished goods; components such as tires sold to automobile manufacturers are not goods, but intermediate goods used to make finished goods.

Consumer goods are goods that are specifically aimed at the mass market. For example, consumer goods excluding investment assets like precious antiques, even though such goods, including goods.
